Bald Eagle
Bald Eagles build the largest nest of any North American bird and the largest tree nests ever recorded for any animal species, up to 13’ deep, 8.2’ wide, and 1 ton in weight. Typical wingspan is between 5’ 11” in and 7 ‘7”. Females are about 25% larger than males, averaging as much as 12 lbs. Even though they are common where I live, I always stop and admire them.
$160.00 as a pin, also available as a pendant. Carved in Port Orford Cedar.
